AGARTALA, February 24 (TIWN): All India Congress Committee (AICC) General Secretary V Narayanswami slammed the Modi-led BJP govt. at the center and the left front govt. here in Tripura for adopting a policy to deprive the poor people of the country. “The BJP govt. at the center works not for the poor but for the industrialists and the high class people of the country. While Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and his left front govt. here in Tripura adopted a policy “master role ghotala” of looting central funds” Narayanswami said. Narayanswami was addressing the TPCC workers and the leaders here at Agartala Rabindra Bhawan today. Addressing the bee storming gathering today, Narayanswami targeted the BJP led NDA govt. at the center for adopting an awful policy for the nation. He said, “The price hike has got much priority under the 9 months leadership of the BJP govt. at the center”. Besides Narayanswami added, “Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is the younger brother of Narendra Modi”.

Criticizing the Modi’s “Make in India” Narayanswami said, “it should have been the policy of Make in America, make in London and make in foreign, because Narendra Modi himself attires with a suits make in foreign countries”.

He mentioned that the same policy of the BJP govt. at the center exists in Tripura with CM Manik Sarkar involved with his “master role ghotala”.

The left front govt. here in Tripura has been always keeping in trend looting the central’s fund, that ultimately reaches among the cadres, while the poor people of the state has been deprived at large here in Tripura. Adding to that Narayanswami said the days are coming when the name of the left front govt. here in the state will get puncher. He said the Congress at present is in power at the entire North eastern region except the Tripura and Sikkim.

On the sideline of another issue, AICC General Secretary V Narayanswami today stated that the rumor spreads when any congress workers leave the party, but “the parted workers now keeps their trend to join the congress party once again, because one who stay in the party is hero and one who leaves is zero”, Narayanswami said. However later addressing the gathering today Narayanswami urged all the party workers and the common mass of the state to co-operate with the Congress here in Tripura to defeat the CPI (M) in the 2018 upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Narayanswami also criticized the BJP govt. at the center in regard of certain congress led UPA – II govt. rooted issues like, MGNREGA, cooking gas, Sarbashiksha Abhiyan. Narayanswami also targeted the BJP govt. for not implementing Rs. 2 per Kg of ration rice to the BPL holders. Narayanswami today visited Tripura to attend the celebration programme of 125th birth anniversary of Pdt. Jawaharlal Nehru at Rabindra Bhawan. All the Pradesh Congress leaders today attended the program, with opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman remained absent in the programmed today.

Narayanswami is also slated to address several party gatherings across the state organized by the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC).
