Economic growth lacks in Tripura: lack of humanity, corruptions and groupism lowers the economic growth in the state, says Opposition leader

AGARTALA, February 20 (TIWN): “The state Tripura is unable to take the pace of development on the other states of the country”, said opposition leader and MLA Sudip Roy Barman today during the assembly session. Adding to that Barman alleged that because of the corruption, lack of humanity, groupism, the state Tripura has been lacking behind in terms of economic development. The poor economic development here has taken the toll of BPL holders to 67% at present, Barman mentioned. During the assembly session on Thrusday, Opposition leader and MLA Sudip Roy Barman addressing his speech laying a stress on corruption and scams said that the state has now a poor economic growth as compared to the other states of the country. He stated that the because of the groupism, block level corruptions and scams and others the state is unable to take the pace of the development in the other states like West Bengal.

Barman further alleged that there is a keep in trend here at the state that a section of people under the banner of the left front govt. has been making a hefty profit from the central’s fund. While, the other common mass of the state has been titled with the Below Poverty Line (BPL) holders, Barman stated.

Mr. Barman today further said that the poor economic growth of the state has taken the BPL toll to 67% at present.
However, adding to the issue of the poor economic growth of the state, Barman mentioned that placing a bill one after another with the assembly is nothing but a strategy of the state govt. to fool the common mass of the state  and to show greed to the people in the name of development here in the state. Besides, saying that the govt. has failed to exploit the human resource here in the state, Barman today further added that the infrastructural development of the state has been lacking professions at large. The demand of the people of the state has been deprived at large here under the 22 years stint in power, Barman stated.
