AGARTALA, Oct 3 (TIWN): With a bonus benefit to consumers, Tripura Govt is distributing free flour, free sugar, and semolina.

However, sugar distribution was stopped in the state for 3 months due to some tender issues.

Total 500 grams semolina (Suji), 2 Kg flour (Mayda) and 1 Kg sugar are being given.

Ahead of Durga puja this special announcement was made by the Govt.

Food Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday visited a ration shop in the Krishna Nagar area of Agartala.
