AGARTALA, June 14 (TIWN): Protesting against the delayed recruitment process in the Fire Department, unemployed youths on Friday gathered at the Fire Brigade office in Agartala. The unemployed youths came to inquire when the recruitment process would resume, but police arrested each of the agitators from there and took them vacating the space where the candidates were protesting. The protest was staged after two more recruitments in Tripura were cancelled today under --- Group-C and Group-D and Asst professor.
Talking to media, one of the agitating youth said, “In June 2022 the recruitment started and physical test was completed. Then in 2023 January, the written exam was completed but after that, no development happened. We have no idea when the recruitment process will be resumed.”
“We vote for the government but the government seems not to care about us. Only we know, how much frustration grips us when we sit at home,” said another job aspirant.
