AGARTALA, January 24 (TIWN): With another burden for the state CID department, the Tripura High Court recently showing displeasure over the role of the CID department passed its order to conduct DNA test of a dead body by recovering it from a graveyard. The HC passed an order on the basis of 2011 kidnap case. The high court later seeks the DNA report within three months from now. However talking to TIWN today SP (CID) Sanjoy Roy said that though the department has not yet received the notice of the High Court but a team led by a DSP rank officer will be visiting spot soon to conduct the procedure of the recovery of the deadbody from the graveyard.
The High Court chaired by the Chief Justice Deepak Gupta in its recent order to the SP CID and IG (Law and Order) on 2011 kidnap case asked to conduct a DNA test of a dead body after recovering it from a graveyard located at Karimganj area under the Assam state.
A couple of days back a dead body was reported to be buried in the graveyard, and the family members of the kidnapped Ashish suspected the body to be of Ashish Shome.
