AGARTALA, Nov 28 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Govt paraded newly recruited TET Qualified teachers on Monday who got jobs. The program was completed by handing over appointment letters to the job holders, which has been labelled as the cheapest ever media publicity done by any Govt in Tripura. This has been considered the “Cheapest” ever publicity done by any Govt in India in its 75 years of Independence, though CM Manik Saha has claimed that it’s a part of Nation-wide program. There was no clap at Ministers’ speeches, there was no smile on recruited teachers who were many times arrested, and beaten up by police after they gheraoed Education Minister’s home.
Moreover, 8th failed Minister Bhagban Das was spotted lecturing the job holders claiming this is first time in Tripura that without any political influence unemployed youths are getting jobs whereas TET examinations had started in 2016 in reality.
Various depts’ jobs were given in this program.
Total 686 candidates got appointment letters. The show-off program costed lakhs.
Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath labeled Govt critics as anti-nationals.
Survey shows under the previous Govt over 10000 jobs were given in five years only under the teaching profession whereas now the Govt is unable to provide few thousand of jobs who are passed out for years.
Moreover, number of TET examinations have been slashed. With all these, BJP Govt’s drama with TET qualified candidates has erupted in criticism.
