People had all democratic rights before the BJP came into power in 2018. Today democracy is under severe attacks. Secularism and unity are under threat. Citizens' rights, personal liberty, press freedom, voting rights all have been snatched. People are no more free to enjoy their constitutional rights. We have to restore the democracy and integrity; otherwise Tripura will never be like before. We have to raise our voice for our rights or we can’t get the minimum basics for us. It the time to get united regardless community and religion to end the evil regime”.
Manik Sarkar further said the opposition parties which are protesting against BJP in various forms have full right to decide with whom they will strategically combine for poll but for the sake of unity, integrity and democracy, all non-BJP parties should be united.
