AGARTALA, Aug 15 (TIWN): A colorful celebration of Independence Day was observed in Assam Rifles ground in Agartala on the occasion of 75th anniversary of Indian Freedom, making the 75 years completion of the Independence Day since 1947. Cultural programs, followed by parade was performed. CM Manik Saha awarded the police officials for their remarkable contributions. School students performed dances, drama as a part of paying tribute to the freedom fighters of the nation. Addressing the occasion CM Manik Saha has unveiled the roadmap developmental project, delivering a report on how far the highway projects were completed.
“247 km of national highway projects, double-lane were completed till 2022 out of four national highway projects of 229.25 KM each. In 2020, 9 national highway projects were unveiled. PWD is also working on road maintenance. Our Govt is determined to access all facilities to the people”, said Manik Saha.
