 Bijan sounds tough over BJP govt’s role

Agartala, January 9 (TIWN): In order to make the country as Hindu State, all sections of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been creating an unrest atmosphere across the country, said CPI-M state unit secretary Bijan Dhar in an open rally at Sabroom mela ground, here today.

"In such situation, the people of the state need to build strong struggle against Hindu agenda of BJP government to make a new society", said Dhar. He further said that Congress and BJP are the two sides of same coin; they are not for the common people of the country.

“While the UPA government had taken the nation to the point of no return, the BJP government is equally responsible for it as it trying to befool people with false commitment”, said Dhar.

However, fighting against the odds, the left front doing everything for the development of the state by implementing various development schemes for the interest of the people of the state, Dhar added.

Speaking in the rally, MP Jitendra Choudhury said, "BJP is playing politics to spread communal polarization and temptation policies in the every parts of the country." Besides, he urged the state's leaders and workers of CPI-M to be aware of this foul politics.

Referring the ensuing TTAADC election, Choudhury further stated that if any other political party comes in power at TTAADC, it will get destroyed. There are no ethical rights of any other political party to sit in the TTAADC, he said.

To mark the 3-day long CPI-M’s sub-divisional committee conference at Sabroom, the open rally was organized today. The three-day long conference was started at the newly built town hall at Sabroom. During the open rally, altogether 25 voters of 6 families from Congress and Trinamool Congress have joined CPI-M. CPI-M’s state committee secretary Bijan Dhar welcomed them by placing party’s flag on their hands.
