AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): A housewife identified as Mamta Roy Das, wife of Amulya Das of Kalapania Park area of Kalachhara under Manubazar PS was missing for two days. Later on Sunday Mamta’s brother and 2 sisters came to Mamta’s house and asked her husband whether she was traced or not. But suddenly Mamata’s family noticed her hanging dead body on a tree next to her house.

Immediately it was informed to Manubazar PS, police rushed at the spot, recovered her body and sent to the Hospital for Post Mortem.

Family alleged she was hanged after murder by her husband and daughter but Police sources said that as per primary investigation it is suicide.

Police also said that after Post Mortem report it will come out whether it was suicide or murder. The family broke down into tears centering the incident.
