AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Biplab Deb who remains busy in inaugurating ‘Ambulance’ by flagging off in front of Media, but under his Ministry health department turned into miserable shape in sub-divisional Hospitals. In our state Tripura’s maximum people in average depend on Govt Hospitals to get free Health services, but fact is under HIRA ERA getting minimum free services has become quite difficult for patients. In a short video clip it has seen a patient party who came to get treatment in the Hospital was forced by Hospital nurse to buy an IV (Intravenous Infusion) Set from outside as there is no IV set in the Health Care Center. Such incident came up from primary health center of Fatikarai in Kumarghat subdivision.

In the short video-  https://youtu.be/cuOmuR7raRE  it was visible the Hospital Nurse asked the patient party to talk with Hospital superintendent Dr Sucharit Chakma over Phone where the patient party was being asked by Dr Chakma to buy IV from outside.

Due to shortage of IV set in the primary health center, patients have been facing harassment to get saline properly and buying IV sets for some patients have become heavy.

Where Health Minister Biplab Deb beating drums says the Health Department has developed, but ground reality displays Collapsed scenario of District and Sub-Divisional Hospitals.

Report says, under the previous Govt, the Medical equipment which was provided free are now forcing patient parties to buy from outside.
