AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): With the sudden political change in Tripura with heavyweight BJP leaders Sudip Roy Barman and Asish Saha's joining in Congress, the Congress has geared up for 2023 poll. The party goes desperate to bring all the disheartened party workers back to Congress home who are right now mostly in BJP and other parties including Trinamool. Calling a press conference, Tripura Congress Working President Manik Deb said, “With Sudip Roy Barman, Asish Saha’s joining in the presence of Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, the party has got strength. On Saturday, 12.30 pm Tripura Congress will welcome Sudip Roy Barman and Asish Saha to the party office. Our party President Birjit Sinha will also remain present on the occasion along with Tripura Congress Incharge Ajay Kumar".
"We want to announce also that the leaders and activists who due to various reasons had quit Congress, they are heartily welcome in our party. Party needs you to give a strong fight against the evil BJP in 2023 poll", said Manik Deb.
It was also mentioned by Deb that in the coming days, many BJP MLAs, leaders will join the Congress party.
