AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Tripura CM Biplab Deb often claims that GB hospital is better than many hospitals of the nation where Tripura patients visit, but whenever any Minister, MLA or political leader falls sick, s/he chose the private hospitals or outside state’s hospitals.

During Covid 2020, a senior Doctor of GB also was sent to Kolkata for better treatment, whereas CM cum Health Minister Biplab Deb claimed that GB is the best hospital and had no inadequacy. CM Biplab Deb also said that GB hospital is better than hospitals of Mumbai, Hyderabad.

IPFT President NC Debbarma is now better, who fell seriously ill after dehydration. He is now admitted in ILS. Recently many political leaders in Tripura were admitted to the hospital.

Now, the question raises why don’t the leaders themselves go for treatment in Govt hospitals rather than choosing private hospitals ? Is it something like, Ministers’ sons/daughters never go to Govt schools although they claim that Govt schools have been developed ??
