AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): Petrol prices in Agartala have been turning more volatile, as prices of crude oil have been showing a firm trend. Today’s petrol price is Rs. 104.68 (12th October 2021).The unprecedented economic slowdown, the rising unemployment rate and skyrocketing prices of petrol and diesel has become heavy on vehicle riders. Not only petrol and diesel Price hiked price hikes on necessary commodities also, as a result common people to poor people are suffering massively. The daily commuters are also facing trouble along with the vehicle drivers due to the price hike of petrol. Rising unemployment rate and rising price of necessary commodities hits the state but the government is in slumber.
Customers have expressed massive resentment over the increasing prices.
Ahead of Durga puja, rising commodity prices have erupted heavy resentment among the people.
Last week, Congress leaders staged a protest over continuous price hike on necessary commodities and fuel in front of the Congress Bhawan, Agartala. Congress leaders demanded immediately the price of necessary commodities should be reduced otherwise the protest will be continued.
