AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): The All India Kishan Khet Majdoor Sanghatan (AIKKMS), State unit on Wednesday has organised a massive protest curriculum against the killing of protesting farmers at UP by a BJP Minister's son.

Reportedly, on Sunday atleast four farmers were killed out of eight fatalities when a convoy of cars allegedly rammed into a group of protesting farmers in Uttar Pradesh. The allegation came against the son of federal minister Ajay Kumar Mishra, that he was in one of the cars that deliberately mowed down the farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri district. According to several people present at the spot on Sunday, the Minister's Son Ashish Mishra, was driving one of the other cars and shot Gurvinder Singh, one of the eight fatalities, in the head after the young farmer tried to stop him from fleeing. All this purportedly happened in the presence of armed policemen.

This heinous incident shook the whole Country. However, the accused Ashish Mishra is yet not arrested and roaming free. From opposition to people from different sections are blasting the Yogi Government for hiding the criminals. 

On Wednesday, the Tripura State Wing of AIKKMS held a massive protest curriculum and demanded immediate arrest of all the accused who mowed down the farmers in Lakhimpur area. The agitators also heavily criticised the anti-farmer, Farm Bill 2020. They also said that, the protest curriculum will get bigger in upcoming days and it will be continued till the justice is served.
