AGARTALA, July 17 (TIWN): On September 21, 2020, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb had promised the unemployed youths of the state that soon the Govt will recruit ten thousand people and the State Govt has already started preparations for that but after 3.5 years of completion, no such attempt has been taken so far and Govt is trying to recruit employees in contracts or outsourcing basis which although can't give any future to the youths. Amid these few contractual jobs recruitment, corruption allegations are coming as recently the Nursing job aspirants held protests after being deprived of jobs even after having high scores and the less academic grade holders, juniors got the jobs. Chief Minister Biplab Deb on September 21, 2020 has told the Assembly that 10,000 Govt jobs will be given in the state soon and the Govt was preparing for that, but it is nearing a year, no recruitment as per his claim happened.
On April 18, 20211, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb while attending TSR 10 bn led organized blood donation camp at 10 Bn-Headquarter, said, "Huge numbers of youths will be recruited soon under the New Battalion (Indian Reserve (IR) Battalions of State Armed Police Force) . At the same time the problems of the TSR camps will be diminished. Govt is aware about the ongoing problems faced by the TSR jawans across camps. Our Govt is visionary and will take actions to sort out the problems", Biplab Deb said.
That promise too turned into a JUMLA.
