Delta+ Variant Data Scam Shocked Tripura : Central Health Dept's Data Exposed Tripura's 'Fake Data'

AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): In 3.4 years, for the first time it was felt that there is still a guardian sitting at the Centre under the Double-Engine Govt at Centre-State. It was felt after the Central Health Ministry exposed the fact behind the fake data delivered in Tripura about Delta plus variant after verifying West Bengal's Microbiology lab's data's actual report. From law and order issues, attacks on journalists to massive corruption held in this state have always remained without any control from the Centre since the BJP in power but after the Modi Govt's cabinet reshuffling, first time the Central Govt's presence was felt when state was suffering due to consistent Curfew over 2 months. After a Central team had visited Tripura followed by Tripura's 7th rank in Covid rates, Tripura Govt via its Health Dept announced that Tripura's 90% cases were tested with delta plus which has been confronted by the Centre clearly.

This has been a major blow for Biplab Deb who had sacked Sudip Roy Barman from the cabinet  in 2019 and became the Health Minister. However this is not the first blunder but earlier, Cancer Drug medicine scam, PPE purchasing alleged scam were also exposed under Biplab Deb's Health Ministry. Another problem which is now being faced in Tripura is that people are getting "Successfully Vaccinated" messages, certificates without having a vaccine. All these prove the incapability of the Dept being handled by Biplab Deb.

Such errors in data by States are also affecting India's national Covid data status, sending a wrong message globally in Covid control when developed countries have kept Indian Airlines banned.

Central Govt clarified : "No case of Delta Plus reported from sample sequencing in Tripura  The samples tested revealed cases of Delta Variant".
