AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Two youths were arrested by Rajnagar PR Bari Police with a huge quantity of contraband items.

The two arrested youths have been identified as Sanjay Shukla Das and Rajesh Shukla Das S/o- Ratan Das residing adjacent to PR Bari PS.

It is known that Ratan Das’s two sons have been involved with drug trading since a long time. On Saturday Police of PR Bari PS suddenly raided Ratan Das’s house and arrested his two sons from the scene for being involved with drug trade.

Sources said that large quantities of drugs were recovered from the house during the operation. 

But talking to Rajnagar PR Bari PS OC Arjun Chakma, he said that the two were arrested with illegal drugs and claimed only a small amount of drug had been recovered from the house.
