AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): On-duty traffic police and passersby noticed an old man was lying on the side of the road near BhattaPukur in the capital city, Agartala in an unconscious state.

The traffic police personnel immediately informed to the Agartala Fire Department.

Upon receiving the news, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and rescued the lying unconscious old man and brought him to IGM Hospital.

However, fire-fighters were unable to find out why the old man was lying on the road side in an unconscious state.

Presently, the man is undergoing treatment at IGM Hospital.

Meanwhile, the details of the old man were not identified until the last news was received.
