AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): Criminalization of Tripura politics continues to affect the Law and Order, Police's neutral actions and thus directly hampering the Justice procedures. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao" slogan turned a cruel joke for the daughters of Tripura, which proves further when a rape victim girl is seen crying for justice and action against rapists as Police failed to take action even after lodging complaints before few months. But Amtali Police is not taking any action against the Rapist, who is patronized by Badharghat BJP MLA Mimi Majumder. TIWN has received the video statement of the victim girl. She says in the video, "Before 2 months, I lodged a Rape Case in the Amtali Police station against accused Kashem Bhuia, S/O-Abdul Bhuia".

"The Amtali Police haf been delaying to give me the FIR lodging copy. I also complained to the women Commission about the incident but nobody is helping me to get justice. At last I realized that my case was not lodged in Amtali Woman PS properly and everyone has one thing to day that the rapist has MLA Mimi Majumder's support and thus nothing can be done against him. My question is, what is the relation between such a criminal and an MLA ?"

"Being a woman, how the MLA is harming another woman just to save her political friend ? She is a "scandal" for the women of the society. Such an animal character woman should not stay in Politics who being a woman does not understand the pains of women", said the Rape victim.

"I stitch clothes and earn little from that profession and now Mimi Majudmer has asked Kashem Bhuia to give me some goods related to stitching along Rs. 25,000. How can a woman say about a victim woman like this ? Is not she a woman ?", asked the victim.

She also alleged that she was attacked physically by some workers of the party and anyhow saved herself by entering in a Hindu home. Now, she is receiving tremendous pressure from party to withdarw the case against rape accused Kashem Bhuia.
