AGARTALA, May 18 (TIWN): Promising that the donators of Chief Minister’s relief fund will be relaxed in income taxes issue, Tripura Law Minister Ratanlal Nath has urged public to donate more in CM’s relief fund. Minister said that the donations will be utilized for public welfare, claiming among 16 crores of donated funds, 8 crores have been utilized already. “Tripura is the only state which is bearing the train expenditure of goers and comers both and no other state has done the same. The donator who is donating, if s/he has high income, then from income taxes also that portion will be relieved. Among 16 crores, 8 crores 26 lakhs utilized for tribal areas and also to bring and send off the stranded people via trainâ€, he said.“CM’s relief fund is being used in public welfare. For example yesterday a train left from Jirania to state Bihar and Tripura Govt is bearing the whole cost. Applying same way, from Belonia tomorrow another train is leaving for Bihar".
"The Bengaluru-Agartala train to arrive today, Chennai, UP, Maharashtra routes are also being covered. On yesterday, it was informed that West Bengal Govt is sending 3 Shramik Special trains to Tripura in response to Tripura Govt's request", he said.

“CM’s relief fund is totally used for public welfare”, said Ratanlal Nath.
However, no balance sheet was published by the Govt yet, which is being requested by critics for online transparency.
