AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 8 (TIWN): The agitating Health dept employees today at GB hospital alleged that an isolation ward can not be located in the middle of a hospital but it should be in a distant place. The health staffs were basically protesting against lack of PPE for them and also, they are suffering due to unhygienic conditions of toilet and lack of sanitizers. In this situation while protesting, the Health staffs said that they are unable to understand the reason of keeping the isolation ward in the heart of the hospital. Also, they alleged, how no Health officer is talking to them asking them to maintain “social distances” but all they are demanding are their deserved “PPE” that is Personal Protective Equipment. Tripura’s COVID19 positive patient who is now in GB hospital quarantine is stable and in last stage of the disease period and stable. The protesting staffs further said, "Whenever we are going anywhere, we are not allowed to enter or go close. In Health offices also same treatment is going on with us. But there is no proper facility given to us. Nobody is ready to talk to us".
