AGARTALA, April 6 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Monday has expressed deep sorrows for the sacked 10323 teachers under Supreme Court’s order adding, “Due to Corona-virus, we are not realizing the criticalness of the teachers-crisis in Tripura schools right now but it is also true, the situation is bad where we are fighting against a deadly virus.
Nath informed media that the case appealed in the Supreme Court by State Govt seeking permission to appoint 10323 teachers in non-teaching posts is in waiting list and Govt is pressing for the case’s hearing.
Nath said, beyond Court’s order, Govt can’t do anything and Supreme Court’s order is the law of the land.
“We hope, Supreme Court will keep our request as we appealed on humanitarian perspective”, said Nath.
“The virus spreads fast and right now due to this critical situation, Supreme Court is not accepting cases, but we are pursuing again and again so that our case is listed for hearing”, he added.
