AGARTALA, April 3 (TIWN): Two Tripura men have been tested positive in Rajasthan’s Bikaner, who attended Nizamuddin programme in Delhi for sometimes but came in contact with COVID-19 infected gathering.

Health Secretary Debasish Basu has told media about it but he mentioned that they were informed verbally, not in written forms yet and as per the telephonic conversation, both persons’ health are in stable condition.

The Govt officials signaled that there is nothing to be panic as nobody was found positive inside the state and all tests resulted negative.

Addressing media, Basu said, “We have got an information that total 11 persons of team from Boxonagar went to Delhi on 5^th March. All of them then went to Bikanir after Delhi programme and after identified by Govt as Nizamuddin attenders, all the 11 persons were tested and according to the Rajasthan Govt information, 2 persons are positive. Rest 9 persons were kept in formal quarantine”.

Another official said that both of their health conditions are stable.

In Tripura, nobody was found positive yet and massive testing are going on.
