AGARTALA, July 25 (TIWN): Helping farmers to increase their incomes and educating them about crop management, Reliance Foundation has conducted Audio Conference on Management of Paddy crop among the farmers of Maheskhala Grampanchayat under Dukli block.

At least 40 farmers participated in the program and much enthusiasm was followed among the participants.

What motivated the organizers is the farmers asked different questions regarding the problems faced by them while cultivating paddy and all their queries was solved by Agriculture expert Dr. Anjan Dasgupta.

The farmers were satisfied with the program and urged reliance foundation officials to conduct more of such programs. Farmers were also acquainted with the toll free helpline number 1800 419 8800 of Reliance Foundation through which they find solutions to their problems related to farm practices, livestock or fisheries.

Reliance foundation is the CSR activity of Reliance Industries.

Such initiatives are also appreciated as Govt of Tripura is focused on Agriculture based economy.
