AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): The flood situation in Tripura is slightly better as Khowai and Haora rivers’ water level started receding, officials said.
However, Disaster Management Dept is active in rescue operations and relief camps are still opened. Govt’s management with flood relief camps including food distribution has been better this time.
However, many houses are submerged under water, caused massive property losses.
On yesterday, 18000 flood affected people took shelter in relief camps.
