AGARTALA, July 14 (TIWN): Town Bordowali BJP MLA Asish Saha has visited flood affected areas in his constituency, met the local people, assured all sorts of helps.

Already NDRF team has been deployed in flood affected areas, police and other troops are engaged in rescue operation with NDRF.

Chief Minister Biplab Deb has urged the people to stay alert and to utilize the emergency helplines.

NDRF teams were deployed throughout West District’s Baldakhal, Srilanka Basti areas. Local MLA Asish Saha has visited the spots, talked to the locals. Relief camps, rescue operations have been started across State. Security, Police personnel have also been deployed to ensure public safety.

There will be continuous heavy raining for next few days, according to Skymet weather, which already caused flood in the capital city and few more subdivisions, the situation may be worsened.
