Flood hits South Tripura, relief camps opened

AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): Various parts of South Tripura have been undergoing flood distress on Tuesday.
Followed by heavy rain, flood has caused public sufferings.
Many families have taken shelter in relief camps. Since yesterday rain started whereas today whole day incessant rain continued.
The number of flood de-sheltered people may increase in night.
Tripura has sought funding from centre as every year due to flood, state and its people are undergoing losses, suffering.
