AGARTALA, March 7 (TIWN): Tripura today got the first Regional Ayurveda Research Centre. Health Minister Sudip Barman has inaugurated the centre at Ramnagar.
The Minister said, soon Tripura’s 8 districts to have such centres which will research, develop the Ayush health service, can help in minimizing the cost of Ayush products and also the researchers can measure the public need and whether, which medicine is highest needed.
Barman also appreciated the NDA Govt for promoting Ayurveda since 2014, even though Ayurveda is age-long medicine therapy.
“Govt will take initiative to have own building of this Ayush centre”, the Minister added.
AMC Mayor Prafullajit Sinha, MLA Asish Saha and other State Govt employees, doctors were present in that programme.
