AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Statistics & Programme Implementation Minister Vijay Goel has announced that the Agartala-Udaipur ongoing National Highway double-lane project covering around 48 km is almost completed.
Goel arrived in Tripura on Tuesday in a 2 days long visit and held also a review meeting with the PWD Dept. He said the double-lane project of Udaipur-Agartala at the cost of Rs. 369 crores will be completed soon.
However, in case of pathetic road-way condition of local areas, Goel said that PWD’s negligence is responsible for that.
Vijay Goel is an Indian politician and a former Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports. Goel is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party. He became president of its organisation in Delhi in February 2013. He was elected to Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan in 2014.
