AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) is undergoing dilemmas due to Govt's order of stopping exams, even though TPSC is a constitutional body powered directly by the constitution, but not by parliamentary bodies. However, TPSC's work is to conduct the examinations only and in this case, if any Dept itself withdraws the posts, what TPSC can do ? On last Sunday due to Finance Dept's order the recruitment was postponed. On the other side, the well performed candidates are fuming over the Govt decision of cancellation of ongoing recruitment but highest victim of the 'Jumla Strike' is none other the well performed candidates. In some cases, all procedures were done except the result publishing. But BJP Govt's strike over their jobs raised question about BJP Govt's trust over TPSC headed by the incumbent Chairman Ex-Chief Secretary of the state Y P Sing. The TCS job aspirants who were already suffering due to slow recruitment and various ongoing HC/ SC cases sat for an interview according to High Court's order January 20 , 2018.
Except hardcore BJP supporting youths, general youths have become frustrated with the Govt and Tripura's fate is so bad that at the 5th month of the govt youths are knocking High Court !
They studied, toiled a lot for the preparations, invested hefty money for coaching and transport, but still TPSC is unable to publish the result of the main exam and now govt is saying that TPSC will recruit 30 TCS and 10 TPS in the year 2018 - 19 but nobody is talking about the TCS recruitment which was concluded in January 2018. On yesterday with another Jumla Strike BJP-IPFT Govt has announced that TPSC will have to cancel the jobs.
Even though TPSC is an autonomous body but now TPSC is also silent regarding the proceeding of recruitment process, fueled much tension and frustration among the job aspirants as it has been around a year, TPSC is sitting without almost Nil-recruitment and the BJP-IPFT govt in a cunning way was silent for 5 months and one day it cancelled all recruitment and after cancelling they are busy various felicitation programmes and visiting various places of India and outside India.
Sources said that, even published in Tripura's leading daily newspaper that TPSC officials are also frustrated over the Govt's decisions.
