Admission delays in Tripura Veterinary College : Student resentments continue, exposes BJP Govt’s poor Governance

AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN): No notification has been released by state Veterinary College leading massive resentment among the aspirant students. Already it has been the 3rd month that the Veterinary aspirants are unable to know whether they are selected, qualified or not. The students alleged that Veterinary syllabus is vast and if in correct time, the students do not get admission then later they don't get any holiday. The Dept has allegedly no concern about such problems. Moreover, it is also a wastage of money as many students left the state to take admission in outside Colleges with hefty donations. On the other side, with a shocking development it has been known that even though it was boasted that the College got registration but in actual the whole thing is under process; no registration number has come yet in hands. The students also haven't gotten their internship money and whenever the Director Ashit Chakraborty is being asked, he says "fund crisis".

Since 2009 the College was established but was  left without recognition under VCI and since two years no registration could be managed.

After the new govt came it claimed that registration has been done and also the Dept was felicitated with flowers, but the passed out students are tensed as they yet to get any registration number.

If TPSC calls for interview, the students will not be able to show any registration number to the TPSC.
