AGARTALA, Aug 22 (TIWN):TPSC & Tripura Govt’s recent decisions are being seen as brutal jokes on Civil Service aspirants Statewide. Cancellation of combined exam which was scheduled to be held on August 26 has fueled massive resentments. The job aspirants said, if TPSC is going to cancel it should cancel it right away so that they should know what they have to do. Neither TPSC is cancelling, nor recruiting them. Moreover there are thousands of posts were to be filled up and when fresh interviews will be called more candidates will join in the test. How many posts will be released ? When the posts will be released ? Will the interview process and result to be out before the Lok Sabha election or not.

With all these, confusions are frustrating youths heavily, as if the job aspirants have become merely items for game for the TPSC.

One Job aspirant wrote, “TPSC had postponed all the recruitment process of previous govt , even the combined exam in which all the graduates can apply and any kind specialization is not required , cancelling combined exam is the most cruel act by the TPSC especially when it was postponed after the new govt assuming power and after that in July it was notified that exam will take place on 26 th April and today again postponed without any reason”.

The matter turned more critical when TPSC and State Govt released separate press releases regarding recruitment.

TPSC said in the notification (No-9(29-124)-Exam/TPSC/2018 signed by Secretary of TPSC S.Mog dated 20/8/2018 says, "It is for information of all concerned that due to certain unavoidable circumstances, the scheduled dates of screening test (s)/Examination have been postponed until further notice". With this notification total 6 numbers of recruitment have been cancelled.

On the other side, the Govt notification (No-20(1)GA-P&T/18) signed by Vishwasree B says, "The competent authority of the State Govt has decided that in view of the new recruitment policy approved by the govt all new appointments should be made as per the New Recruitment Policy and all existing recruitment processes initiated by respective depts or the TPSC, hereby stand cancelled excepting ongoing recruitment of Tripura Judicial Service Grade-III only for which specific exemptions have been accorded in the consultation with the High Court of Tripura".

With all these, the test of tolerance is surpassing the limits by the BJP-IPFT Govt.
