AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Amid communists led heavy protests and allegations against the continuous bulldozing of illegal party offices of CPI-M in Tripura, there is no protest by CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury yet on this issue.
Generally regarding Tripura issues, Sitaram Yechury gives his immediate reaction through social media and as well as gives statements.
With the alleged attacks upon Tripura CPI-M Party offices after the election result, the issue was highlighted nationally by central CPI-M, but in this particular bulldozing event, there is no statement by the central CPI-M. The National General Secretary Yechury is also silent in this matter.
It indicates clearly, the CPI-Ms are not confident about the legality of their offices which has led the General Secretary to remain silent on that issue.
Yesterday Tripura Ex-Chief Minister Manik Sarkar had visited Motor Stand, where many party offices were bulldozed. Visiting the spots, Manik Sarkar said that the bulldozing of party offices were totally unnecessary and incorrect step of the Govt.
