AGARTALA, March 26 (TIWN): Tripura Assembly session's 2nd day has started at 11 am today.
This is the 1st Assembly Session in Tripura after BJP had formed its maiden Govt here led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb.
In the 1st day of the Assembly, there was only one side discussion with Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma told the Assembly about the economic infrastructure of the state following the 25 years of CPI-M regime.
"Tripura BJP Govt will make a realistic budget, whereas the former govt never increased the budget with practical outlook", said Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma in the Assembly.
"We have already placed our economic tight situation before the public, which was a result of expenditure without calculation. We have taken initiative to create practical budget which is possible for the govt. Whereas the budget estimate 159561.56 cores that budget after modifying was found as 142971.00 crores".
With this Assembly session, total 16 CPI-M MLAs, 8 IPFT MLAs, 36 BJP MLAs will meet face to face for the first time during Assembly Session and to cross question each other on various issues.
Another debate sparked in Tripura Assembly, after Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma by mistake uttered 'Vote on Account' during his speech in the Assembly.
