AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN):Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb today while addressing in Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha organized blood donation camp said, "I know the value of blood donation as I have suffered when my mother needed A-negative blood for recovery. I also have AB Negative blood group, which I got from my mother".

"Blood donation is a noble work. All the people who have come here to donate blood, I am speechless to thank them as they have prepared their mindsets before they move from their homes. The decided, they will donate blood which may save another person's life", CM said.

"It's a modern era. But earlier, it was much hard to arrange blood for patients. My mother has A-negative blood group. So, I know the pains and sufferings the people undergo when such a patient is at home. My blood group is also AB-neg", he said.

" Earlier arranging the blood was much earlier. But in today's time also blood donation campaigns are equally important. Also donation of blood gives us a tremendous inner joy, which the blood donors can only understand", he said.

CM also thanked Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha for organizing this blood donation camp.
