TIWN March 25, 2018
AGARTALA, March 25 (TIWN): Politics have always played a vital role in job distribution. Recently even though corrupt officials, Minister do their jobs secretly but before 25 years, no justice, no High Court, Supreme Court were seen monitoring state govt's corruptions. A huge numbers of middle aged, senior citizens today have met at Agartala Jagannath Bari Park, near the Press Club disclosing a historical deprivation done by the CPI-M Govt under Dasarath Deb in 1993. Before one year of the election, unemployed youths received their offer letters in 1992 under the Congress Govt, but after assuming the power, the CPI-M Govt immediately cancelled the offer letters without showing any cause behind the cancellation. Then in those posts they appointed CPI-M comrades directly. Even though the deprived people had filed cases on that time, but due to their poor economic condition, the cases couldn't continue. Apart from that on that time the system was not so transparent as now under the High Court and Supreme Court.
Talking to TIWN, the deprived citizens mentioned, "We have been deprived since 25 years. Now we got a new government and our hopes are high that the BJP Govt will do a justice to us".
However, many of those teachers have become overaged.
Today after the meeting was conducted, the job aspirants will now prepare for a deputation to the state govt and think about the next steps.
On that time, all jobs were given through walk-in-interview and that's how the interviews were taken in Congress era. But without mentioning about the cause behind the termination, CPI-M Govt had terminated them.
Termination Letter
The chief reason behind job-cancellation was, they did not walk in CPI-M's rallies. Now after 25 years, question will be raised, whether a new govt can cancel jobs given by the previous govt or not.
