AGARTALA, March 24 (TIWN): Anuara Chhatra Samaj has demanded proper investigation in Anuara murder case, who was killed in 2016, month of May.
‘Anuara Chhatra Samaj’ led by few youths placed a deputation to the Chief Minister Biplab Deb today. CM also has assured proper investigation in the case.
In the deputation, it was written, “We, the undersigned members of Anuara Chhatra Samaj, an apolitical group of students demand proper investigation in the murder case of Anuara Chowdhury (16) years old student of Women’s Polytechnic, Hapania. After incoming of forensic report from outside Tripura and repeated protest movement, state police arrested Noor Mahammed, maternal uncle of Anuara”.
“But it has been seen her maternal uncle is not only the lone accused in the case…..Her maternal uncle’s wife should also be arrested”.
“Moreover, maternal uncle’s son Sunny also needed to be detained and interrogated as he could more nearer to her sister ‘Anuara’ as per the statement of her father given to police. When Anuara was brought to hospital, cut marks and several injuries were also noticed on her face and neck which suspect that she was raped before alleged murder. It is suspected that, Sunny might have a hand behind raping her few days back before the murder”.
“Apart from accused persons, two doctors namely Dr Kishan Rawat and Dr Shyam Sundar Saha of GBP hospital is involved and caused death of Anuara”, Anuara Chhatra Samaj said in the deputation.
With all these Anuara Chhatra Samaj has demanded proper investigation to solve the ‘mysterious’ case.
