After colleague committed suicide in Loa | AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): The terminated 10323 teachers who are undergoing massive loan-burdens have once again sought relief from the burden as a teacher Uttam Tripura has passed away by committing suicide and many died earlier in the death row. Earlier also, the 10323 teachers met Gramin Bank authority requesting him to stop imposing loan-interests and today also, the teachers met the authority seeking relieves from constant pressures coming from the bank for loan recovery. EMIs. Talking to media, 10323 teacher Amulya Debbarma said that as teachers were given loans based on their jobs, how can the banks now pressure them for interests when they are already terminated ? "Earlier also in various times, we have requested the authority to stop charging the EMI and not to pressurize the guarantors but amid our requests also, the Bank authority has started to impose on us heavy interests and sending notices, harassing the guarantors. Govt has given us words to give us jobs and thus, till the jobs are given, our EMIs should not be charged. Senior Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman while briefing media at the High Court said, "As you know that on 7th March, 2020 a tragic death of a young lawyer Bhaskar Debroy was reported after he was found lying on road with severe injuries on body and Fire Brigade took him to GB hospital. MBBS final year Student's mysterious dea | AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): Family, Opposition demand judicial inquiry to Adarsh Dey's mysterious death incident as there are allegedly strong reasons to demand fair investigation. Amid whispers on air and criticism erupted in different corners of the state about medical student, Adarsha Dey's sudden death, Belonia Block Congress has demanded a judicial inquiry to investigate the mystery. Adrash father calling a press meet also has demanded the same, but till now from College to police and the Govt none of the sectors have contacted the family. Local people told media that the family must knock High Court as it has remained as the last hope of justice. Adrash's father said, "I need a video evidence, when my son's body was recovered from hanging situation". At a press conference held at Belonia Block Congress building on Sunday morning, Congress leaders called for a judicial inquiry into Adarsha Dey's mysterious death. 10323 Teachers to strengthen Movement fr | AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): The agitating 10323 teachers to intensify their protest after 6th January, announced the Joint Movement Committee members who have stirred protest from December 7, 2020 before Agartala City Centre amid no response came from the State Govt yet. The 10323 teachers will complete their 1 month of demonstration on 7th January and from 7th December, the teachers are agitating on road amid extreme cold weather. The family alleged that the long term stress and sadness Uttam endured after losing his job has pushed him towards psychological trauma and anxiety. BJP Govt forgets its promise about 'All | AGARTALA, Jan 1 (TIWN): Tripura BJP Govt has forgotten its promise on no viva tests and all written tests for Group-C and Group-D whereas 10 marks for higher posts could be taken with proper videography. It can be mentioned here that on May, 2018 after 2 months of Govt formation, it was Law Minister Ratanlal Nath who announced that interviews for Group-C and Group-D will be 100% based on written tests but now once again the same Minister has announced that viva tests will be taken based on language subjects as Bengali, Kokborok. It has been announced when the Govt is to conduct interviews for 4000 posts. Addressing media at the Secretariat after a cabinet meeting, Law Minister Ratanlal Nath on Tuesday said, "Cabinet has taken a new decision in Recruitment rules for Direct recruitment". He mentioned that even written tests' high marks are not enough but knowledge in state languages Bengali or Kokborok to be tested in viva tests.
