
Agartala, 30 Aug, (TIWN) To upgrade the Health service facility in the state, Rural Development department has taken initiative to build up 172 Primary Health Centre (PHC) buildings within the area of Agartala, Bishramganj and Teliamura.
Meantime construction work of 111 PHC building completed while construction work of rest 61 centers will be completed very shortly, officials of the concerned department informed this. Apart from this with a view to supply the people potable drinking water, drinking water and sanitation wing of the state government created about eight ring wells, two iron removal plants and forty-three mini deep tube wells up to last July month.
According to the officials portable drinking water might keep people healthy from many diseases and keeping this view in mind state government is doing level best within the financial limitation.
