BELONIA, April 22 (TIWN): Patients are deprived of Ayushman Bharat facilities in Belonia hospital. A patient party alleged that in other hospitals, this card has been working except Belonia Hospital. As a result, patients under treatment in the hospital are forced to buy medicine from outside. When the patient's relatives asked the Ayushman card staff about this, they directly informed that the Ayushman card services were not launched yet. Questions arise as to why this Ayushman card has been introduced in various hospitals of the state but not in Bilonia Hospital.
Patient parties appealed to CM Dr Manik Saha to look into the matter.
The Ayushman card was launched by the central government to benefit rs. 5 lakhs of annual treatment to patients. Tripura government then launched CM Jana Arogya Jojona scheme to benefit the rest of the population uncovered by Ayushman card.
