Mid-Day meal quality problem: children fall ill

Agartala, 27th August, 2013 (TIWN) At least four children of Bilashpur Anganwadi Centre under Gournagar R D block fell ill last Monday, after having the Mid Day meal in which it is suspected to have lizard’s head.
All the children were aged between 4 to 6 years. All the students who were rushed to hospital had been released after treatment. The incident has left hundreds of parents worried about the standard of the meal that are being provided to the children, everyday, round the state in hundreds of schools and centers.
