AGARTALA, July 4 (TIWN) Soaking themselves in religious fervour, lakhs of devotees across Tripura on Thursday celebrated the Chariot Festival or Rath Yatra, Lord Jagannath's annual visit to his aunt's house.
Chanting "Jai Jagannath" and "Hare Krishna" people thronged the roads and went up to the roof tops to have a glimpse of their beloved lords.
CM Biplab Deb has greeted State on this auspicious festival.
Ratha Yatra, also referred to as Rathayatra, Rathajatra or Chariot festival is any public procession in a chariot.
