New Delhi, June 18 (TIWN) As the electric vehicle (EV) industry awaits new government quality-centric guidelines, another e-scooter belonging to Pure EV went into flames in Gujarat.

In the video, we can see the scooter burning aggressively. It seems like someone is trying to extinguish the fire by throwing water on the scooter. We can also see the charger that is still plugged into the scooter. Pure EV has not released a statement about the fire but it seems like the fire was caused because the scooter was parked outside under the sun. We already know that India is facing severe heat waves then the charger was plugged in which could have further increased the temperature.
