A country's power is defined through its proficiency in economic and political areas, the robustness of its international partnerships, and military prowess.  In 2025, US ranked the world's top 10 most powerful countries, utilizing a methodology based on an equally weighted average of scores across five key attributes: leadership, economic influence, political sway, strong international alliances, and military capability. 

1. United States: GDP of $30.34 trillion, population of 345 million, located in North America.

2. China: GDP of $19.53 trillion, population of 1.419 billion, situated in Asia.

3. Russia: GDP of $2.2 trillion, population of 144 million, also in Asia.

4. United Kingdom: GDP of $3.73 trillion, population of 69 million, in Europe.

5. Germany: GDP of $4.92 trillion, population of 84 million, located in Europe.

6. South Korea: GDP of $1.95 trillion, population of 52 million, in Asia.

7. France: GDP of $3.28 trillion, population of 66 million, located in Europe.

8. Japan: GDP of $4.39 trillion, population of 123 million, also in Asia.

9. Saudi Arabia: GDP of $1.14 trillion, population of 34 million, situated in Asia.

10. Israel: GDP of $550.91 billion, population of approximately 9.38 million, in Asia.
