New York, Jan 24 : A marriage proposal was thrown at Indian-American Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley by rival Donald Trump's supporter as she addressed a rally in the US state of Hampshire.

The GOP presidential contender, 52, was talking to her supporters at the Artisan Hotel in Salem about what's at stake in the upcoming election on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, when the man shouted the impromptu marriage proposal from the crowd, drawing laughter from Haley.
