Wellington, Nov 23 (TIWN) New Zealand will move into the new Covid-19 traffic light system on December 3, which provides the ability for businesses and events to re-open to vaccinated Kiwis, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said on Monday.

At 12 p.m. on December 2, the entire country will transition to the Covid-19 Protection Framework, making December 3 the first day the traffic light system will be operational, Ardern said at a post-cabinet press conference. Green, orange, and red are the three layers of the simplified framework. Vaccine certificates will give each level more freedom.
