Washington, June 27 (TIWN) Four people were killed and one person was critically injured following a hot air balloon crash in the US state of New Mexico, authorities said.

As per the city’s police department, the basket the passengers were in got detached from the hot air balloon and crashed. On Twitter, witnesses described seeing the hot air balloon descend to the ground in a deflated state.
