Abu Dhabi, Jan 19 (TIWN) Indian missions and organisations across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are prepping for scaled-down Republic Day celebrations this January 26 in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai will hold the annual flag-hoisting ceremonies to commemorate the day but without much fanfare, while adhering to the Covid-19 safety protocols, Gulf News said in a report. The two ceremonies will be live-streamed for people to participate virtually.
