122 people killed in Afghan flash floods

Kabul, Aug 27 (TIWN) At least 122 people were killed, 147 injured and several others reported missing due to flash floods across Afghanistan's 12 provinces, the government said on Thursday.
At least 250 people were injured when torrential rain earlier in the week triggered flash floods that ravaged large-parts of Parwan province, officials in the disaster management ministry said.
